Silly season is upon us

With only a few weeks to go to the end of the calendar year, one can’t help but look back on the year gone by. What a year it has been. I have mixed feelings about how to view this year. It started off as a very uncertain one for Primorial and continued to become even more uncertain with the onslaught of the COVID pandemic and increasingly so as the economy entered post-COVID territory. But on another side, it was a very solid year where we solidified our place and work with the EOH and Liberty 2 Degrees Groups as clients which we have been successful in maintaining into 2021. Clients are getting to understand the Primorial service touch and want to ensure they maintain it. We have also been successful in winning some well desired review work from some smaller groups within the EOH group.

None of this can be done by the directors alone. We can achieve these milestones because of the team we work with. The age old proverb that “a chain is as strong as its weakest link” has, at Primorial shown that our weakest links are evidently strong because as a greater team, we are growing from strength to strength.

where is she going with this, you ask

Where I am going with this is that we are now nearing a time of the year when we should take the time off. Reflect on the year gone by and make plans and resolutions or the year ahead. Please use this time, if you can, to pull yourself away from everything chaotic and in a quiet place ask yourself : format are you grateful this year and what do you want for yourself in the coming year? These are not necessarily easy questions to answer but ones that will set the tone for the year ahead. I will definitely be challenging myself to do this, and I encourage you to do so too.

As we enter this time spent with family, friends and all those we hold dear to us, please be safe – COVID-19 is still with us, be safe in your travels, and be safe in your spirit. I wish you a restful time and that you may come back revitalised to face the aspirations you have for yourself in the New Year. Stay blessed always.
